Hello good people. Just a note to let you know that www.cicmag.t83.net has had a bit of a clean and is now split into specific pages. i.e alternative, club, food and drink, fashion etc. this is just to allow everyone to navigate easier and instead of having a directory we want to put bands on the alternative page and bars in the food and drink page etc.

We have been scanning facebook, myspace and other internet sources for things to add but we would still like you to send us requests, we will add you onto the page you feel most relevant to for maximum exposure. If you want to get involved then feel free.

Formed in early 2009, Electric Slim are: Adam Dunkley, a drummer whose charging Bonham-esq beats and dancing hi-hat rhythms form the solid basis of all their songs; his brother Lee Dunkley, who provides the catchy basslines and eccentric musical ethos; Curtis Riley, a virtuoso keyboardist and key element to their unique sound; and Curtis Douglas, guitarist and lead singer with a soulful voice, capable of intricate melodies and shattering solos. With a powerful sense of direction and a determination to stand out from the crowd, Electric Slim has already gained a modest fanbase and key support slots for bands such as The Filthy Dukes and Sunshine Underground.



Our debut EP will be released at Rosie Malones on the 17th April and will be limited edition with only 100 copies.

It's a good pic, but you do kind of stand out with your pasty-chic.
