2 quality weekends for local bands

been a fantastic 2 weekends for local bands, anyone who thinks there is a shortage of quality in Coventrys music scene couldn't have been to any of Godiva Festival, Godiva Fringe or Keresley

having done at least one day of all 3 i've been highly impressed at the standard of the bands who played.

not heard or seen a duff set all week, superb stuff

fingers crossed we all have bigger and better things to look forward to this time next year.

Ive missed all of em because I've been Ill as can be for the past month and a half, i always knew that there was a plethora of talent in Coventry & all around it, unique and diverse talent too. Gotta say I'm 1000% sure that many many bands from round here are gonna get bigger and better, no doubt about it.

I'm glad the fringe and Keresley worked so well, hopefully will be involved next year.

your not wrong about a few good weekends..need a month to recover now...light weight i know.
Lets hope next year is even bigger...about time coventry pooled its resources and showed the rest of the country that we have some of the most committed muscians and lovers of live music around...biggup all involved in the scene.
