Yeah whatever you do , dont go to the Cov Cross, also if i were you just double check with the promoter on the age restrictions for this gig as they have a history of accidently booking underage acts and throwing out everyone who came to watch them ..... and the band.

Also, make sure you don't try to hurry DJF off the stage if they've hideously run over their set time and left you only 20 minutes to set up and play your set - they get awful upset about being rushed..

cheers for the heads up...ive covered that one...its a shame that this fine City Council cant take a chill pill and relax the resterictions for live music venues...but then who am i to question our fine council...Kontours are on the bill with Long Raod Ghosts at the Kasbah on the 28th which is a 14+ night so the young uns can see them there...

There'll be no hurrying DJF....there bigger than me...lol

I think that was more due to the venue being tossers on that occasion,It was les than 20 mins tbh;)

That's what you get at the Cross though mate, and everyone knows it - I even saw the plug get pulled on Long Road Ghosts there recently - my issue on that particular night was that everyone knew we were tight on time, yet DJF's drummer insisted on taking ages to get his cymabls off the house kit stands, despite the fact I had my cymbals on my own stands already set up offstage ready to move. As soon as I said anything to him about it, I got the rest of his band coming up to tell me how much I'd offended and upset him!

Water under the bridge though - I wasn't even in the same band at the time!
