Fearne http://www.myspace.com/fearne

The
boys return for their THIRD Ditch The TV appearance! Fearne is the
collective name of three like minded lads Alex, Nick and Tom from The
South coast town of Bournemouth. Fusing Catchy melodies with driving
bass lines, they write songs about the celebrity obsessed culture, love
and the daily grind. With an unpredictable front man reigned in by a
thunderous rhythm section, the band have perfected the art of telling a
story on stage. Fearne have the rare quality to spark each other into
life and create a unique brand of accessible Acoustic/Indie/Epic. Often
compared to the likes of Starsailor or Athlete, expect to hear a lot
more from Fearne in 2009.

Their music has been played on over 25
radio stations nationwide, they have performed live for BBC Radio
Solent and saw their debut album appear in the Borders national chart
at number 41.

Fearne have shared the stage with the likes of
Athlete, Air Traffic, Bob Dylan, Dengue Fever, Desmond Dekker and the
Aces, Dodgy, Esser, Ezio, Feeder, Nick Harper, Nizlopi, The Beat and
Skint & Demoralised.

The Proposition’s sound is described as
a uniquely English take on acoustic-Americana, offering instantly
hummable modern folk songs that explore dark stories through the
prettiest of tunes, and all driven by stirringly energetic performance.

Malc Evans http://www.myspace.com/malcevansmusic

Malc
has been writing and performing since 2002 as a solo performer and as
co-writer/co-singer and half of the pop-duo BENEVA. He's built up a
reputation as a great live performer and entertainer. He's well-known
on the Coventry scene, and further afield.

The Malc Evans Band offer an entertaining mix of Malc's original material and cover songs, perfect for that party or wedding!

Malc
also performs with Steve 'Skidders' Skidmore as CLAPTOUT AND ACOUSTIC,
performing the songs from Eric Clapton's UNPLUGGED album.

The
song 1000 Tears, co-written with Paul Hogg, is to be released as a
charity CD to raise money for PAPYRUS, a charity you can find out more
by visiting www.song4emma.co.uk

The song 'Stalker' is to feature in the movie "Do Elephants Pray?"

“I
knew The Malc Evans Band would be good; but, I had no idea they would
be THAT good! A real treat!” Nick, Landlord of the Newbold Comyn Arms,
Leamington Spa

"From these cobbled street commentaries to MALC
EVANS who's, quite possibly, a bit of jester. At times this steady
stream of ironic semi-comedy provides some light entertainment and
there's no getting away from the fact that he's very good at this
effective brand of acoustic light entertainment. Dig a little deeper
though and you'll come across some truly memorable moments such as "I
Trust In You", where he picks the strings and insists on considered
melodies."
MANCHESTER MUSIC

"Malc Evans is the best artist I
have ever had the privilege of working with. He is a complete
professional and I would never think twice about booking him again!"
DAVID O'LEARY, PROMOTER/DJ

Here's a quote from Sam and Dale at Acoustic Brew:

"Hey
man you were so fantastic tonight, you went down so well me mon,i'm
telling you now, any night, evening, event would be very lucky to have
you on there billing, you are an amazing performer, thank you very much
for being part of our evening tonight, Hope to see you soon Dale and
Sam"

The Proposition http://www.myspace.com/thepropositionuk

Built
around acoustic guitar, banjo, bass and drums, with rich three-part
harmonies, The Proposition have been likened to The Handsome Family and
The Felice Brothers but remain uniquely their own 'proposition'.
