Foolish? I think not! I am merely saying that at the moment with the limited space we have, we don't need to go berserk with our advertising, we will do when we are at the "full capacity" stage.

And yes, i did start adding the myspace links to the events on facebook, as it did occur to me that without people having a gander at the bands we book they won't have a clue what to expect, so yes, you are right there.

And of course i'm going to be defensive, this pub is something we have been working very hard to pull off, considering the mess the previous people who had it made, i'm sure our customers are still weary about finding coke head chavs all over the place, i'm amazed we have managed to turn it round to the extent that we have.

I'm not staff by the way, i'm a partner & the landlords missus, which is why i might get a bit defensive, the whole thing means alot!

Plus, if i had a high horse it wouldn't be that easy for me to get off it that quickly, i'm only short!

Possibly could you not have said at the start something along the line of

"We have started adding myspace links to the Facebook events as i can see your and the other people who have mentioned its point" and then added these to the forums you promote on and i could have got on with sorting out ep stuff and be asleep by now?
