Topic Friday Night Project @ The Albany

Hi Guy's

I'm starting a night at The Albany pub on Friday nights from June 11th.

It's basically going to be very much in the mold of "This is Sound" nights over at the nags and Queens that Mr Flood and co used to put on

2 bands and then DJ afterwards playing all the best new indie, rock and alternative tunes as well as the classic anthems,

it's going to be free to get in and the bands will get some beers for their efforts, this will hopefully escalate to paying the bands as well once we've got a hold on how much money the bar's going to take.

the venue is installing a fresh pa with fully functioning monitors and lighting as well

Albany is a wicked place and the boss is a top bloke.
Can't praise this enough. And Retro City man....as far as I know the bands can be any age as long as you lot don't go up to the bar and start ordering triple JD's.

I'm not 100% sure about the age limit to be honest, I'll be speaking with Glyn this evening and have an answer tomorrow. It is a pub rather than club though so i'd assume it to be over 18s (officially ;0)
