Idle Playthings through to the Godiva Finals

Hi Guys,

We're through to the finals of the Godiva unsigned competition. Thanks to those that came to support us.

We'll be playing at the Kasbah on the 6th of June, Sunday daytime.

I went along to this....these guys and Arcadian Kicks stood out from the pack:)

Cheers guys. Arcadian kicks didn't make it. I think they ran over by trying to squeeze in another song despite the stage manager telling them they were out of time. They didn't stick around after playing either.

Black Fangs got through with us.

awesome, i really don't know why but that has made my day!

I know Black Fangs, Its the Indigo's new band, nice dirty sound. pleased they got through.

I'm suprised Arcadian Kicks didn't get through,themselves and their crowd did leave though after they played so they wouldn't have got the public vote.
Missed the first band but all accounts say they were good.

We'd like to offer our congratulations to Idle Playthings again, top band and they put on a great show, deservedly went through. I doubt it,there's no room on it as nearly all the other bands for main are confirmed,unless the Inspire boys wanted to put them on their stage.

If it isn't true that they just all left after their set, then maybe, but if they did jsut fuck off after playing then they deserve to have lost and it's just karma reordering the balance.

It is a shame but thats exactly what they did.

Well then they disrespected the competition and paid the price for it as it would seem. Personally i don't rate em much at all, think their well over hyped and without the two girls would be nowhere and the cynic in me hates that. So I'm happy bout it personally, plus Idle Playthings and Black Fangs both play stuff i prefer so it's all good.

Talking about the Arcadian Kicks, just got asked to gig with them at the Kasbah in July, im only in bloody Gran Canaria! (Sorry Dougie!)
