Reubens Cane go underground "literally" as they perform at Birminghams
cult venue The Sunflower Lounge. Basement bar frolics and revelries in
what promises to be another exciting night of musical merriment. Fresh
from their trip to London, the Reubens Cane lads are keen to see some
local faces and familiar cats at this one.

If I was better fixed, I'd be there with bells on for this mate - the thought of travelling to brum and not getting wrecked though...hmmm...

No idea how we got the gig to be fair, it got puled yesterday though, the two other bands pulled out so they pulled the gig. Wish i had been told before yesterday though, could have easily got two more bands.

We did a gig there through underground promotions, poorly organised it was. Martin 'el red list' put us onto them, good place to play, but it was our the 2nd or 3rd we'd actually been booked on by the time we got to do it.

Did I? I don't remember any dealings with 'Underground Promotions'.
I remember 'Platform Promotions' who used to put gigs on at The Flapper, right shower they were...

Yes, you're absolutely right, it was Platform Promotions. It was the underground sign she uses that confused me.
