CANCELLED: The Red List support MARK MORRISS (BLUETONES) 30/1/10

On Saturday 30th January, The Red List are playing a support gig to MARK MORRISS (frontman with BLUETONES) at Dirty South in Lewisham, London.

We'd love to get some local folks down for this and will put on transport if there's enough interest. We have tickets for the gig, priced at £8 each.

hope you sell the 50 tix man, have they changed their policy? cos the Jamm promoters used to be the ultimate pay to play, The Crooks ended up £300 out of pocket when we did a Jamm gig down south what with the coach etc. and we still took about 40 down!

not wanting to shoot this gig down but ask the majority of cov bands who have played Dirty South/jamm gigs and they will tell you the same.

Dunno who Jamm is, this was arranged through a guy called Mark going as "Absent Kelly Promotions".
Similar arrangement though, but we took the decision to go for it - kind of a take the risk or carry on playing same venues here every few weeks thing. Happily, we know a fair few folks living in that area who should be coming.

I might end up out of pocket personally, as I've pledged to hook up transport for any local folks coming down for the gig - fancy it chap?

If it goes tits up, then it does - we're only old & decrepit once!

yeah Mark thats the fella, him and his mate Jamie run both venues (Dirty South and Brixton Jamm)

to be fair its a great night out, we played with Bez and Northside and it was rammed and we got hammered, just a shame it cost us so much money as a band put us off doing it again.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it all the same Martin, I think it was Senses that played the Dublin Castle. I played there once, nice venue.

Yeah The Crooks played there, filled up nicely during the night. Then you can get trolleyed in the rather excellent Camden afterwards

Despite numerous adversities (story for another time), I'm really looking forward to this gig on Saturday!!

We've had to cancel our set at this gig - proper gutted!
We'll refund anyone who bought a ticket from us
