Go Lazarus will be playing The Tuns in Coventry on Friday 04/12/2009.

We're gonna be premiering some new stuff so it'd be sweeeeeet if you could come down to one of the best nights in Coventry!

Line up TBC but other bands will be on as well

We haven't played there since November ast year so it'll be good to be back. And it looks like that'll be our last gig of the year so it should be a pretty cool one!

Sorry about this but we've been let down and the night has been cancelled (twice in three weeks this has happened!! - should we risk working with the 'promoter' again? lol)

I've never played any of Carl's gigs, but I had him on mine and he's always been very professional. When FCR played The Rumble last year they were one of the highlights.

Not wanting to speak for Carl, but I think the reason he's pulled out of promoting at The Tuns is financial.
I also looked into putting on gigs there and it just ain't financially viable - for example, they're hiring in the PA for each gig, paying 4 security guys to stand in that little doorway, etc.

Shame, because our gig there (with Carl promoting) recently was really good, the sound was excellent and the turnout wasn't bad either.

that was what he said to be honest. We've met him once before and he's a good bloke it's just frustrating being cancelled at the last minute. Can understand if he's gonna lose money tho.

Four Security, that's a little overkill isn't it?

Sometimes the security is a legal requirement, possibly not in this case but it's something to be aware of.

A good ball park is one member per 100 customers.

Then it was total overkill at The Tuns!

I don't think I've ever seen 100 people in there at one time?
