LP45 - stylish, slick and sophisticated, superb players in a technically brilliant indie/funk band
www.myspace.com/stereon
DRIVEN LIKE THE SNOW – Tamworth’s premier acoustic folk rock band, awesome tunes and vocals

Fiori can't play this. They are drummerless.
I've told the promoter why, a forum is not the place to talk about someone's great misfortune.
We are more than sorry about this.

Your candour was appreciated AK, my best to those concerned.
Ok, so a replacement headliner for this should be announced shortly...

THE ROGUE STATES have happily stepped into this line up, bringing their infectious and smiley, yet powerful Britpop tunes to the Music Box rescue! My thanks to them.
You can sample their wares at www.myspace.com/theroguestates
LP45 will now take on headlining duties, and very capably too. They are some of the greatest live players it's been my privelege to witness.
So "Music Box #2" still promises an amazing line up of live bands.

Driven Like The Snow, from Tamworth, are well up for this and are promising to rock out with their acoustic guitars and violin!

Despite numerous adversities (Tom from We Are The Dead breaking his arm, Liz from Driven Like The Snow tearing her achilles), everyone's soldiering on tremendously!!
Really looking forward to this now

Cheers to everyone who came down last night for this - easily the best gig it's been my pleasure to put on so far!
Highlights for me were:
Driven Like The Snow, a real find - brilliant, dark and at times apocalyptic. A real showcase band.
Brave soldiers Tom (We Are The Dead) with his broken arm, and Simon (LP45) left high and dry to play alone - but, fuck, can that guy play!
The Rogue States just keep improving all the time, and how many people does Rich Evans know? Christ on a stick!
Top night all round. Well chuffed.

Couldn't be arsed, too much other stuff to do.
One thing I will say is Rider went up in my estimation with the music they played and then obliterated any good will by not only leaving before the end of the gig but worst still removed their equipment during another bands set!

Fair point, although some of Rider were still around at the end of the night. Water under the bridge mate.
