Just want to say a massive thanks to all the bands that gave up there time to play yesterday, it was a fantastic day. We managed to raise over £500 for The Gemma Newman fund and had a wicked day to boot.

The highlights for me were a new band on the scene called The Vauteers. They played amazing and easily had the best crowd on the day. The Pockets were awesome as usual and Ferris was on top form. Actually all the bands and solo artists were great yesterday and should be proud of themselves.

We overcome some pretty major obstacles to put the gig on with The Escape closing but it all worked out in the end.

Unfortunately I couldn't be there Leigh - got back from London at 6am and then had to get work finished. So Saturday was a complete blur for me. Would have liked to come too - see how the other half lives these days!.

But overall, how did it go? Did you do well on the charity front? Highlights?

Yeah, whatever it was Leigh, just take it with a pinch of salt mate. I know it's frustrating (I took 3 years of shit mate, so I know) but at the end of the day it seems from all accounts like you put on a successful and enjoyable event which is the only important thing.

I am only jesting by the way, had no money what so ever wanted to come to this and also was trying to get dragged down to the cross with Mithy never made either.
Out of interest who was doing the sound last night, Myke you thought about getting your own band engineer, guessing money factor is a major holdback.

Well done guys on dedicating your time and effort into a great cause and raising money for charity.

BUT...I can safely say I'm never going Dogma again, prices were ridiculous and they didn't even have taps in the toilet! (awesome to find after you have already put the soap on your hands)

Myke is and always has been very passionate about his music and with yet another gig going wrong for him, you can imagine just how frustrated he was. Unfortunately, it just got to him at your particular gig. I wouldn't take any of it personally.

It's a minor strop that isn't worth even talking about - show me a man who's NEVER thrown his dolly out the pram and I'll show you........er....... a man........ who's........ er......... still got a dolly.... in his pram?
