Crosby's & The Reubens Cane Experience

Crosby's on Friday Night (31st July)

Just wanted to say how much I really enjoyed Reubens Cane on Friday night - They're one of the freshest, most enjoyable bands I've heard for a long time - each song is a masterpiece - such a rich and glorious sound, as you would expect from musicians of their stature. Thoroughly enjoyed their set - Really brought it home to me what a travesty it was that they didn't get on that Godiva stage.

Fight On The Pier supported and did an incredible job - a seriously promising young band who received a whole load of well deserved compliments after their set.

The venue was good, the sound out front was great and the guys who put on the night did a really sweet job of it - quality. I really hope the guys do well, because they deserve to

I concur, a truley memorable nite , sound was spot on , Rubens cane were/are a cut above the rest as for Fight on the Pier, keep watching those cats, their up n coming and will do great things in the future. Well done to all involved A BIG thumbs up !

Fight on the Pier are a good little punk band.

Cheers for the comments guys was a wee bit hellish trying to organise the gig from Ireland at such short notice but Ciaran L and James done a good job on the night from what i've heard.

Cheers John, was really impressed by Fight On The Pier to be fair, they are young but were very very tight not really my thing and what they were doing was a bit 6 or 7 years ago but like I say enjoyed them when I thought I prob wouldn't. Was strange gig on our point of view being the testing night and all that, was very quiet on stage but after seeing fight on the pier play I knew it would sound good out the front. Good night, people in there were an interesting mix, nice to have a indie night on a Firday somehwere. Thumbs up all round, oh and not a dig at Ciaran by any meens but big shout out to Nick our stand in drummer who did a sterling job after only two practice session with us a gig and then we make him do another one haha. Thumbs up all round.
Oh yeah the next night I hear their is a good night at inspire too hehe so go to inspire then Crosby's peeps
