Has anyone done a gig there yet? Is it any good?

I've been chatting the PA chap there (as I'm putting a couple of gigs on myself there soon) and he reckons the sound is great. Also This/Broadcast played there and said (on that other forum) that the sound was really good.
They are having some new PA gear installed very soon (so I'm told).

Russian Gundogs played there last week and said they really enjoyed it - apparently a really good sound etc. About time someone rescued that place from the chav scum. The old 'Dive' was legendary - good luck to them.

Don't know why a small venue like that would have 'PA gear installed' though - nothing more than a decent vocal PA needed really at that size. Keep it simple, it's more fun.

the venue is a subsidiary of the kasbah - i guess they'll want it to be as full on/fully set up as poss

They are running it through the in house rig thats used for everything. Think it's just a few monitors and rearranging things to make it more band friendly really.
If anyone wants a show get let me know as I help him out with the promo and stuff and DJ the nights.
