Retro City & support from Dirty little Herberts at the fleur de lys on 31/07/09

Rising from the dreary streets of Coventry, Retro City hope to fill the Nation with their melodic indie rock anthems. Five enthusiastic mates were bored of spending their weekends doing nothing so they decided to form a band in early 2008 in hope of a good time. Straight away they began composing songs, producing 2 mediocre songs over 2 weeks.Over months they worked on their material producing an exciting 4 songs. Despite their progress, they have had several set backs, including losing 2 of their drummers, but they persevered and soon enough got back on their feet and were back to business within a week
So far the lads have enjoyed ‘band life’. Over the next few months they plan to be writing more songs to add to their repetoir and spending time recording their new material. Despite taking the band seriously, the lads in the band are still good mates and enjoy going out together and having a good time.
From two friends (Sean Flood and James Robertson) making music in a bedroom to finding Matt Jones and Mike Mccan who have been in previous bands to make one big sound that will rock your socks !!!
