Went down tonight, bumped into Dan and his good lady. Missed Blowfish or whatever, caught Womacks who were funking it plenty with hammond & brass. By the time I'd got 5 pints in at £18 twas the time for Go West. Couldn't fault the performance. Anyhows, the reason I've logged on here.. A lot of improvements this year, if you haven't been down tonight. The layouts so much better all around the grounds. A choice of beer tents, still your array of foodage, a mobile masseur and your mobile bar people. But, even more prominent, and maybe because I haven't been to a loud gig for a while, I dunno, the PA sounds crisp as fuck. If you're playing it tomorrow you're in for a treat folks. Expect a sound check between bands and it getting cranked up when you're on. CV1 +1 for not charging entry this year

I had a good day but got silly drunk in a few hours and left just before Pint Shot Riots set.

Its only the second Godiva that ive been to, and yeah none of the bands playing were to my tastes, the beer is slightly over priced but i think its really good day out for a family. The organisers should be praised for it. There's not many councils(or whoever) would stump up the cash for it.

80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster were suprisingy good, well done to the organisers for going out on a limb with that one. I imagine they wouldn't be to the taste of the majority.

I realy enjoyed what I saw, didn't stay for The Twang or Idlewild. Wish I hadn't bothered with my evenings activities now, but nevermind, live and learn eh?

Saturday was a good day indeed - EE & HbH were mint, I got royally sunburnt, plus me and Chris (also of The Red List) managed to embarras ourselves in front of Drunk Dan, Ryan (EE) and others by doing a dodgy 5 minute acoustic slot up by the beer tent!
