Could somebody tell me if the new venue on Spon Street is called 'The Rising Sun'? I have a feeling it is but not sure.

Also, is it now open/anything good going on their this weekend?

We do apologuise for the problems with the Carling...the underbar cooler was playing up, which has now been fixed (this was the only complaint about the beer I'm aware of).....

We are open all day, everyday (well, from 5pm on Sundays for the next week or so), and, although the doors close at 12.30 on weekdays, you can stay drinking until 2am every day.

We have bands on every Friday and Saturday, as well as a couple of Sunday gigs coming up. With the exception of the Charity Events, these are all FREE ENTRY.
