King Hermit - last Friday @The Fleur, Nuneaton

Just wanted to say that it had been far too long since I'd seen King Hermit live and last Friday night they just blew me away. Here's a band who have made massive leaps from their early days, to the present day kicking out some of the best live tracks I've heard in a good while. Thoroughly enjoyed their set, but also gutted I missed Russian Gundogs - another band I rate very highly.

Also, the Fleur in Nunny is a little gem of a place with a whole lot of potential as a venue - the owner has put some money into getting a decent little set up going and making it as band friendly as possible. He's also paying unsigned bands to play with absolutely no ticket selling etc involved.

I think their contact details are in the promoter section, so give them a try - it's a nice gig.

Hmm, sounds interesting, 2 of our guys are in Nunny so would be nice to play somewhere else over there for them.
