THE FORTUNE TELLERS are the new incarnation of Drag Queen Bingo, a retro rock and roll band hailing from Nuneaton, who over the course of 2008 gigged relentlessly around the midlands building a reputation as an exciting live act. Formed in 2006, founding members Steve Long, Matt Green, Dan Joyce, Ed Long and Sam Keen started trying to make a name for themselves with influences as varied as the New York Dolls and Bowie to the BJM, Dandy Warhols and of course, the Stones.

In their new guise. THE FORTUNE TELLERS are a more bluesy affair, with heavier 60's British Psych influences than before, and a new drummer in Olly Smith, of fellow Nuneaton rockers Somatic. The all new material has been tailored, along with the new set list, to work best live, with the band commited to gigging even more heavily this year.
