Literally! - A WARNING - PLEASE READ Mon Aug 31, 2009 2:44 pm by Sound Foundry I thought this needed putting in the news section, really as an important warning to all musicians. Recently, while playing a festival, Johnny Kingham of Lipshock jumped from the stage to do a guitar solo and upon touching the ground was electrocuted. He was hospitalised, but fortunately only suffered minor burns and cuts and bruises, but it could easily have been a lot worse had it not been for the quick thinking of the individual who pulled the lead out of the amp. The equipment was supplied by the organisers who claim it had been checked out. If you haven't had your equipment checked out for a while PLEASE get it done asap. Mike Pick 'n' Styx offers a PAT testing service. Don't take the risk. Anyway, thankfully Johnny is fine (except for having to put up with all the jokes) and may be looking at bringing charges (sorry) Comments: 3 | Search Who is Online ?
